Some are worth millions.
Others are a Bust.

Ok…what is that?
Ambush Social Media is what i see going on all over the place. On social media sites including these:
It is something that I believe should be stopped and stopped soon.
In the blizzard of folks in social media and home businesses-HOW do you set yourself APART from the crowd?
Do and say what the crowd is NOT saying and doing, and GIVE MORE than the crowd would ever think to give in VALUE in your message.
“De-Crowd” yourself and quit looking at the crowd, thinking like the crowd, talking like the crowd, and behaving like the crowd. OPPOSE the norm and OPEN UP new doors and ways to do things that you are marketing and getting your message out.
What can you do and say that will be so brilliant it will JOLT people into NEW THINKING and NEW WAYS to solve their problems?
if you DO THAT–You will Become like a NEON Light and you will start to GLOW baby GLOW in social media marketing!
Connection is the Nuclear Core of Social Media. But you MUST make an effort for that to happen.
Whether you have a social media home business, traditional bricks and mortar business, or an online business, you must get into the social trenches and connect and converse. It is that simple and that plain.
It is ALL about Connecting and creating a Magnetic Conversation.
But why are people NOT doing that?
Maybe they do not know this powerful 5 Step “Avalanche Process” for getting New Customers and KEEPING them.
Combined you have what is called Conversation-both offline and online.
Conversation has been something that most of us have been very good at, and have found it natural to do.
Some are good at it.
Some are really good at it.
Until we go online and in the social media sphere.
THAT is a lot of money, and a lot of wealth, and salad.
This is not going to be a long post, but well worth the read.
I was recently talking over lunch to a CEO and Founder of a company that does over a billion dollars a year and it is a traditional business. He was enjoying his salad immensely. Turns out that his salad contained a billion dollars worth of advice as well.
At least it helped catalyzed it.
The CEO is well spoken and a brilliant visionary, and a good friend of mine. I have learned much from him. We have done some business together in the past and will again.
He and I were talking about social media marketing and all the possibilities that were there, and he asked me a question.
“Would you like a piece of billion dollar advice?”
“Sure-you bet” I said.
He leaned over his billion dollar salad and smiled, and said, “I have watched social media for the last 4 years, and it appears that you have done allright with it with exposing your trainings on the social sites. Bravo. I have also noticed that there is a well kept secret that most in social media have not figured out, but the ones who have– are getting very rich in social media. VERY rich. You have done well, but want to do a whole lot better?”
I was all ears.
“Here is a secret-find out what people are looking for - I mean REALLY LOOKING FOR and REALLY WANTING -take the time to study that –ask a lot research questions in your marketing niche about what is missing and what void needs to be filled desperately. THEN-give it to them…but do it BETTER than anyone else possibly could imagine. Drop their jaws. Make your competitors envious and depressed… do that in social media, and you will own your social media marketing niche within a year or sooner. Guaranteed.”
THAT is a billion dollar nugget – for social media marketing.
It was all over the place recently at the blogworld expo convention.
It was ROCKING HOT. People tweeting about it, blogging about it, sending mobile uploads, podcasting live, ustreaming about it.
What a great event and I love las vegas and the climate. But also the greatest part of it was the education that someone could learn from it.
And Scott was even interviewed on CNN about the social media revolution. GO Scott! How about Chris Brogan? And all the speakers there? it was an AMAZING chance to learn and grow in social media.
Why am I telling you this?
