But how does this affect your social strategies as far as marketing and connecting with your peeps and finding new social networking prospects?
Well, there are many things you can do as you are away from your computer !
Here are 5 tactics that you can use during summer to FIND new prospects as well as keeping in touch with your folks as well.
1) Get Social Media Business cards.
Get your cards with the facebook logo, twitter logo, and youtube logo and give them out wherever you are during the summer. It is not who thinks they will remember you, INSURE they will remember you with your social friendly card.
2) Use the 4th screen.
Your cell phone is a perfect way to show someone a video you have done promoting your message. You can also use your cell phone to email and post on facebook or twitter. OH! You not have a cell phone that gets on the internet? My suggestion is to GET ONE! It pays for itself the first month.
3) Get a Social Friendly T-Shirt.
Get a t-shirt with your twitter url on one side and facebook on the other with your company logo. It works.
4) Hold a “Twit-a que” or a “face-out!”
Invite your folks over to your home and tweet about it and post about it with your friends there. You will have a blast. Keep a computer screen up so people can see their posts and tweets. It is a riot wo see their faces when they see their message about the “twit-a-que!”
5) Get a flip web ready video camera.
These types of cameras are getting HUGE in popularity. You carry it with you, and video anything that you see during the summer and post it on youtube or faceboopk or twitter. Take videos of other people and then email them the post and video. It will drive traffic to your site as well as give you an excuse to call them back!
