But how does this affect your social strategies as far as marketing and connecting with your peeps and finding new social networking prospects?

1. How can you help ME ?
2. How can I help YOU ?
3. How can I SERVE YOU ?
The last question is a HUGE difference between the other two. Serving in social media marketing requires GIVING and GOING that extra mile that most will not. SERVING is not limited to helping, but it soars to the level of ONLY YOU. You become so valuable to them they think of ONLY YOU concerning your message.
That is the place you want to be in. ONLY YOU are thought of when it comes time to move on your message and products.
That is the power of social media- being on the top of their mind when it is time to purchase or hire for their needs.
Social Media is a serving zone.
There are really only 2 kinds of folks that are in social media marketing.
Ones that are looking to create VOLUME in their business, and Ones that are looking to give VALUE in their conversations. One is focused on self, and the other is focused on Success.

Connection is the Nuclear Core of Social Media. But you MUST make an effort for that to happen.
Whether you have a social media home business, traditional bricks and mortar business, or an online business, you must get into the social trenches and connect and converse. It is that simple and that plain.
It is ALL about Connecting and creating a Magnetic Conversation.
But why are people NOT doing that?

But a savvy marketer or a home business marketer also knows that social media marketing is about MARKETING as well, and you MUST balance the two.
These lies in social media that people are promoting daily that as far as marketing and social connections, have little to do with either of the two. I hear them on podcasts, see them on blogs, and view them on videos and each time I feel like SHOUTING to the roof top.
I believe it was Joe Wilson that shouted out “YOU LIE”during his speech. Well, maybe we need to take the Joe Wilson speaking course and shout that out at out social media folks that are promoting lies and maybe even are not aware of they are doing it. They may be just repeating what they have heard in social media.
One of the things I do, I consult companies- traditional and non-traditional- on marketing, social media, success, leadership, team building, home business strategies, plus other topics. And I could never take the 3 concepts that I am hearing and make it a part of any consult.
They probaly would end up firing me.
And they would you too.
Combined you have what is called Conversation-both offline and online.
Conversation has been something that most of us have been very good at, and have found it natural to do.
Some are good at it.
Some are really good at it.
